A woman sleeping in her Bronx apartment was grazed in the forehead by a stray bullet fired through her ceiling, police said Monday.
The stray slug pierced the 55-year-old victim’s ceiling and grazed her as she slept in her bed on Purdy Ave. near Metropolitan Ave. in Parkchester about 11:45 p.m. Sunday, police said.
The victim’s daughter called 911. Medics took the victim to Jacobi Medical Center, where she is expected to recover.
Six people in the apartment above the victim were taken into custody and are being questioned, police said. No charges were immediately filed.
