The body of a man has been discovered at a home in Glasgow.
Police raced to an address at Lochend Path, Easterhouse, after receiving reports of the sudden death of a man at around 5.05am on Sunday. Officers attended and a 52-year-old man was found dead at the scene.
Detectives say his death is currently being treated as unexplained. A 48-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an alleged assault. He has since been released pending further inquiry.

Inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death are ongoing. Images from the scene show a heavy police presence in the area on Sunday afternoon.
At least five marked police vehicles were spotted on the street alongside forensic officers and CID. A block of flats appeared to be taped off as investigations were carried out.
A concerned local told our sister title, Glasgow Live, they saw officers carrying out “door-to-door inquiries”.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 5.05am on Sunday, 23 February, 2025, we were called to address in Lochend Path, Easterhouse following the sudden death of a 52-year-old man. The death is being treated as unexplained.
“A 48-year-old man was arrested in connection with assault and later released pending further enquiries. Enquiries are ongoing.”
