Rainbow Room International’s East Kilbride salon were a cut above at the salon group’s 36th Annual Congress taking home six gongs.
Under the leadership of salon director Adrian Foxworthy, the team was honoured with the impressive array of accolades – a testament to their dedication, talent, and commitment to excellence.
The South Lanarkshire salon’s achievements included a mix of bronze and silver awards, celebrating their “skill, creativity, and outstanding client experience”.
A night of recognition and celebration, the annual congress is a highlight of the Rainbow Room International calendar, bringing together all twelve salons to honour the dedication and skill of the group’s talented stylists.

The evening, at Glasgow’s Òran Mór began with a champagne reception, where guests enjoyed live jazz music and caught up with colleagues before sitting down to a three-course meal, setting the stage for the much-anticipated awards ceremony.
Taking to the stage, Alan Stewart, co-founder of Rainbow Room International, welcomed guests and expressed his appreciation for the teams’ hard work over the past twelve months. He also acknowledged the high standard of talent across all salons, making it an “especially challenging year” for the judging panel.
The awards recognised stylists for their commitment to self-improvement, client care, technical expertise, and creativity on social media.

Gold, silver, and bronze awards were presented, highlighting Rainbow Room International’s dedication to both Western-style achievement recognition and the Eastern philosophy of Kaizen—continuous improvement.
A special moment of the evening was the ‘Academy Graduation’, which celebrated the next generation of hairdressing talent and their journey into the industry, along with the prestigious Salon Team of the Year award.
Rainbow Room International East Kilbride celebrated a remarkable achievement with six awards, recognising the team’s dedication to excellence.
The Bronze Commendation Award went to Lisa Maguire for Total Treatments; Silver Commendation Award went to Jacqueline Curran for Total Client Care and Bronze also to Jacqueline Curran for Part-Time Stylist.
Self Improvement Awards 2023-2024 went to: Ellie Addison, Lisa Maguire and Jacqueline Curran.
Following the awards, the celebrations continued in style with live music from Groove Supply, led by Breck Stewart, son of Alan and Linda Stewart, as salon teams danced the night away, celebrating their achievements and looking ahead to another exciting year in 2025.
