Franky Venegas, one half of rap duo Island Boys, has been arrested in Florida on drug and gun charges.

According to the sheriff’s report obtained by TMZ, deputies pulled over Vanegas and a woman driver in a yellow Corvette on Oil Well Road for failing to stop completely.

The license plate were expired, but it was later determined the car’s registration was valid. The woman driving the car and Venegas were asked to get out of the vehicle. Officers found a “plastic baggy of pills” on the passenger floor as well as a brown handbag labeled “MGM,” which is where authorities found a blue spray-painted gun with no identifying serial numbers.

The 23-year-old was taken to Collier County Jail on Sunday and faces charges of possession of a controlled substance without a prescription and possession of an altered firearm.

This isn’t the viral star’s first run-in with the law. Venegas was also arrested in 2023 for domestic battery after an altercation with his girlfriend at the time. When officers responded to the incident, there were bruises on the woman’s “chin, legs, and arms.”

Also known as Kodiyakredd,  the musician ran into more legal trouble last year when he was arrested in Fort Lauderdale on several driving offenses including reckless driving, operating a motor vehicle without a valid license and possessing false identification.

Venegas shot to fame with his twin brother, Alex Venegas, as Tik Tok influencers with their hit “I’m an Island Boy.”
