Rhea Ripley issued a bombshell warning to any WWE fans who attempt to contact them at their homes.

The multi-time WWE Women’s Champion and current Women’s World Champion spoke out after fellow female brawler Asuka contacted police after being on the end of a stalking behaviour and made to feel unsafe. The star did not elaborated on the situation, which was revealed last month. On social media she urged fans to realise that she rejected any “romantic feelings” towards her and to leave her home address alone.

Now Ripley, a big star beloved by millions of UK fans on Netflix, has sent her own message to remind overzealous wrestling fans to keep their boundaries. On Instagram she wrote: “Shouldn’t have to say this…Do not ever send fan mail to my house. That is by mail, or SELF DELIVERED! That is 100 per cent not ok.”

Concern over the safety of WWE’s female stars is sadly nothing new. In 2020, Sonya Deville was confronted by an intruder in her home. Phillip Thomas drove from South Carolina to Florida equipped with zip ties, duct tape, and a knife before breaking into Deville’s home intent on kidnapping her. Thomas pleaded guilty to attempted kidnapping, aggravated stalking, and armed burglary and was sentenced to 15 years in prison followed by another 15 years on probation.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Bianca Belair also posted something of a warning on X, as she wrote: “My parents do NOT have ANY social media accounts on ANY platform! If accounts are commenting, DMing, or reaching out to you it is a FAKE account. Be safe out there!”
