Baba Vanga, renowned for her chillingly accurate predictions of major global events, has left a foreboding legacy regarding the year 2025.
The famed Bulgarian blind mystic, who passed away in 1996 at the age of 85, is credited with foreseeing some of the most significant occurrences in recent history, such as the untimely demise of Princess Diana, the catastrophic 9/11 attacks, and the escalating climate emergency.
Given the current geopolitical tensions involving Russia, her prophecies are particularly disconcerting, the Mirror reports.
Baba Vanga ominously declared: “In the spring, a war in the East will begin and there will be a third World War. A war in the East that will destroy the West,” and she also proclaimed that Putin would become “lord of the world” while Europe would be reduced to a “wasteland”.
Amidst the ongoing Russian aggression in Ukraine, her foresight on the conflict’s resolution is equally stark. She predicted: “Russia will not only survive, it will dominate the world”.
While such predictions are generally taken with caution, the international community remains on edge as tensions escalate worldwide.
Echoing this sentiment, former UK Defence Secretary Grant Shapps has highlighted the end of what he calls the “peace dividend era,” identifying Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea as potential catalysts for further unrest over the coming years.
Despite some disputes over Baba Vanga’s prophecies, the visually impaired seer has amassed a dedicated following who firmly believe in her extraordinary ability to foresee the future. Blind from an early age, she was semi-literate in Bulgarian and did not document her own predictions.
Instead, her devotees recorded her words, later compiling them into books. One of her alarming forecasts for 2025 pertains to natural calamities.
Following a tumultuous 2024 marked by storms, hurricanes, floods, and wildfires, Vanga foretold that destructive earthquakes and other natural disasters would wreak havoc worldwide in 2025.
She specifically mentioned an earthquake along the US west coast. The seer anticipated these events would result in loss of life, mass displacement, and ruined infrastructure.
In addition, she predicted that 2025 would be the year we make contact with extra-terrestrial beings. The existence of aliens has been a topic of debate for centuries, but according to Baba Vanga, 2025 will be the year humans finally encounter these otherworldly entities.
The mystic suggested this meeting would occur under unusual circumstances, with the initial introduction expected to happen during a significant sporting event.
