During a recent episode of Loose Women, Janet Street-Porter and Denise Welch had a heated on-air disagreement.
Ruth Langsford was joined on the ITV daytime show by Janet, Denise, and Coleen Nolan to discuss current news topics. The panel debated the question “have you considered emigrating?”, during which Janet labelled Denise as “selfish”.
This came after the former Coronation Street actress shared her views on the subject. Janet stated: “That’s so selfish.” To which Denise responded: “Why is it selfish?” Janet retorted: “If you don’t like the country you are in, do something about it yourself”, with Denise replying: “I’m trying to.”
Janet then suggested: “Then go to another like Dubai..,” Denise interjected saying: “You pay no tax and it’s safe. In this country we respect the country’s human rights more than the victim’s human rights.”
In another segment of the show, Ruth made an urgent appeal to viewers while sharing a health update reports the Mirror. As the panel discussed potential hidden skin health issues, Ruth said: “We will be talking about skin today.

“Are you taking care of it? Any change of your condition on your skin could be an indication that there is something else going on in your body.”
She continued: “Dermatologists are warning we are all guilty of not taking enough time to really look at our skin and therefore look after ourselves.”
Ruth recently shared details about her health following a check-up on her moles, reassuring everyone that “it is nothing to worry about.”
She explained her approach to health: “When I was younger, you kind of ignored things and you never thought about it. But definitely as I’ve gotten older – I’ve been twice this week – I go twice a year to get my moles checked.”
She reflected on her past exposure to the sun, saying: “When we were young, we didn’t know the dangers of sunbathing and my dad’s in the army so we were abroad a lot running around in the sun. I remember sunscreen being around but not smothering it on.”
During the conversation, Ruth indicated a recent procedure on her skin, adding: “I’ve just had a little thing done here this week but it’s nothing to worry about because it’s been checked.”
Her colleague Coleen then noted an unusual incident earlier, asking: “Didn’t you go green earlier? ” Ruth responded with a humorous dismissal: “I did go green but it’s gone now. I don’t know what that was, maybe because it was early morning.”
