Millie Bobby Brown looked almost unrecognisable as she sported a new look this week.
The actress, who played psychic teenager Eleven in the Duffer Brothers’ hit Netflix series Stranger Things, has ditched the show’s shaven headed look for long blonde locks now that she has turned 21.
But most fans of the show would have to agree that the British TV and film star looks a decade older.
On Sunday, she turned up at the SAG awards wearing with her hair in a sleek bun and a custom Louis Vuitton peach gown with a cowl neckline and open back detail, as well as gold sandals.
The Stranger Things star added some sparkle with Chopard jewels. She wore earrings featuring two 11-carat brilliant-cut yellow diamonds and 9.71-carats of white diamonds set in 18k gold, as well as a ring featuring a 5.65-carat oval-cut yellow diamonds and white diamonds set in 18k yellow gold and 18k white gold both from the Haute Joaillerie Collection.
The look as she turned up at the awards with husband Jake Bonjiovi, 22, is a far cry from the helpless waif who escapes from a secure facility only to reveal her incredible kinetic powers in the popular TV series set to return for its final season this year.
The show, set in the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana, in the 1980s, first aired in 2016 with Brown taking on the role a year before when she was just 11 years old.
Season 5 will see her return with her co-stars including Finn Wolfhard, Winona Ryder and David Harbour.
Brown also appeared at the premiere of her new movie The Electric State with Bonjiovi this week, wearing a busty beaded gold gown, featuring structured hips and a captivating cape at the event, held at the Egyptian Theatre in LA.
Brown and Bonjiovi, who is the son of Jon Bon Jovi, met through Instagram before they were photographed out together for the first time as a pair in June 2021.
Bonjiovi popped the question April 2023, after two years of dating, in an elaborate underwater proposal while on holiday.
They officially tied the knot in May 2024, in a “very small, family ceremony.”
In October, the pair exchanged vows for a second time in a lavish Italian ceremony at the Villa Cetinale Roman in Tuscany.
She was also joined by co-star Chris Pratt, 45, at the event. The actor rocked a light lavender suit and white dress shoes.
Pratt was accompanied by wife Katherine Schwarzenegger, 35.
Stranger Things fans are bracing themselves for an emotional farewell to the hit Netflix series when it reaches screens.
Brown shared how emotional it was to say goodbye to Eleven.
She said: For me, it wasn’t like, ‘Let’s wrap on Millie Bobby Brown.’ It’s like, ‘That’s a wrap on Eleven’. Hearing those characters, even seeing my friends wrap, it was just really emotional for me.”
She added: “I was on set, and I was like, ‘Well, I have one more day left.’ And I started crying.”
