West Lothian Council have confirmed the theft of a local authority mini-bus.
The council are appealing for information following the overnight theft of a 17 seater white Ford mini-bus from Quigley House in Craigshill where the council’s Pathways service is based.
The theft took place between 7pm on Monday, February 24, and the early hours of Tuesday, February 25.
A council spokesperson said: “This is an incredibly frustrating incident with the vehicle normally being used by our Community Inclusion Team to support adults with learning difficulties to access activities in their local communities.
“The mini-bus is also used to support people that travel to central pick up points at St John’s Hospital and Livingston Centre.
“According to our vehicle tracker, it is thought the last known location of the minibus was near Plains, North Lanarkshire.
