BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – In a social media post today, Toys For Tots Mercer, McDowell, and Eastern Tazewell County announced that they will be holding a toy drive for children in McDowell county who have been effected by the recent flooding.
“The level of devastation in McDowell is beyond tragic and our group elected to send what we hope is a welcomed distraction for the families impacted by the floods,” said the post.
If you would like to help, the drive will take place beginning at 12:30 Friday at the Mercer Mall.
Volunteers will be taking toys and loading them in a U-Haul to take to McDowell County.
