(Gray News) – Republican lawmakers are introducing a bill that would feature President Donald Trump on a $250 bill.
The Donald J. Trump $250 Bill Act, introduced by Rep. Joe Wilson, R-S.C., would direct the Bureau of Engraving and Printing to design a bill to feature Trump’s photo.
“Grateful to announce that I am drafting legislation to direct the Bureau of Engraving and Printing to design a $250 bill featuring Donald J. Trump,” Wilson said in a post on X.
The representative went on to say, “Bidenflation has destroyed the economy, forcing American families to carry more cash. Most valuable bill for most valuable President!”
A section of the bill would allow the portrait of living presidents on United States currency and securities.
