The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office spotted the kangaroo near FM 609 and Farek-Loth Road.
AUSTIN, Texas — A wild kangaroo was spotted hopping around Fayette County.
Deputies reported seeing the kangaroo near Farek-Loth Road and FM 609 on Thursday.
When they found it, the animal was wearing a red jacket. The sheriff’s office added, “yes, we are serious … we couldn’t make this up if we wanted to.”
Officials with the sheriff’s office are imploring anyone who may own the animal to contact the Fayette County dispatch.
