AUSTIN, Texas — A crash in northwest Austin is under investigation after multiple people were ejected.

Austin-Travis County EMS reported the crash on West Parmer Lane near McNeil Drive just after 7 p.m. Friday.

While it’s unclear what caused the crash, ATCEMS said it was a “major collision” with multiple ambulances and command resources responding to the scene.

ATCEMS said five people were involved in the crash including one adult who was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. Three “pediatric” patients suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, while another adult suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
