Dunelm customers are singing the praises of a ‘luxurious’ bedding set they say “looks more expensive.” The Felix Corduroy Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set, which comes in three shades – mustard, olive, and terracotta – is flying off shelves.
The set’s pricing starts at a reasonable £12.50 for a single and goes up to £25 for a super king. Originally priced between £25 and £50, the set is now on sale.
Dunelm’s own description of the product reads: “Experience ultimate comfort and style with this chic duvet cover set, featuring a luxurious corduroy front that is perfect for adding a touch of elegance to your bedroom. The reverse side is specially crafted from peached fabric, ensuring extra softness against your skin for a cosy night’s sleep.
“Designed with a convenient button closure, this duvet cover is as practical as it is stylish. Available in a selection of sophisticated colours, it’s machine washable for easy care, making it the perfect choice for staying warm and comfortable during cooler nights.”
Scoring an impressive 4.6-star average from online reviews, one satisfied customer said: “A good quality duvet set. Great price. Looks more expensive than it was. Very warm and comfortable,” reports the Mirror.

A second shopper raved about the quality, saying: “Soft, luxurious, and matches so much stuff. I bought this online and thought it wouldn’t be as nice in reality but I was pleasantly surprised.
“It was so soft to the touch and can’t wait to use it. I went back and bought five duvet covers for my new home. These are so easy to match with throws. And I just added different pillow case covers and flat sheets to give a bit of variety. Love them!!”
Another satisfied customer chimed in: “Warm and cosy. Looks amazing on bed. Washes well and dries quickly.” Meanwhile, a fourth added: “Lush quilt cover, corded feel. I like the fabric and the colour, soft underside feels smooth. Looks way more expensive than it was.”
A fifth customer shared: “Wraps around you. The quilt cover is quite heavy which I wasn’t expecting, but had a glorious night’s sleep as it felt like it was wrapping itself around me.”
However, some were less enthused about their purchase. One dissatisfied buyer stated: “It feels nice and soft but the duvet doesn’t stay in it right. I’m convinced it doesn’t actually fit. Awful. Used twice and will be throwing it away.”
Another followed with their unfortunate experience: “I got this set on sale, it was nice and comfortable for my king size duvet. However, after the 1st wash it shrunk to an extent that barely fits a double duvet inside. I have used all the instructions provided and was gutted.”
For those who may not find the Dunelm set to their liking, many retailers such as M&S offers alternatives like the Pure Cotton Tufted Floral Bedding Set, priced between £59 – £89 depending on the size selected.
Elsewhere, Next is offering the White/Pink Bow Embroidered Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set or the Monochrome Tufted Wave 100% Cotton Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set. The price ranges from £35 to £65, depending on the size of the set.
