FAIRLEA, W.Va. – After falling to Morgantown in the State Quarterfinals just a year and one day before Thursday night, the Greenbrier East Lady Spartans have had their eyes set on returning to Charleston.
All year long, they’ve sat atop the Class AAA polls, ranging inside the top 3 in just about every week.
With a trip to the State Tournament in sight, the Lady Spartans kept their foot on the gas the whole game against Nicholas County.
Greenbrier East kept it on automatic throughout the duration, posting a 29-point win over the Lady Grizzlies.
The Lady Spartans will now play #6 Sissonville, Wednesday, March 12th, at 11:15 AM in the State Quarterfinals at the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center.
