BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – WIC in Mercer County is assisting those in need, including those affected by the February floods.
The WIC has been passing out water, cleaning supplies, clothes, and baby supplies in an effort to aid the community. They are accepting donations and are currently seeking children’s supplies like formula, clothes, wipes and diapers. They are also seeking cleaning supplies like bleach and laundry detergent.
The Southern Nutrition Coordinator said being able to help the community is a blessing.

Their hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
