ATHENS, W.Va. – After their matchup Friday seeing 34 combined runs between the two, Concord and #24 Millersville capped off their weekend series at Anderson Field Saturday.
The Mountain Lions got down early in the first game 3-0, but Concord would not go away as they scored three of their four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning, to walk it off, stealing game 1.
In game 2, the momentum stayed with the Mountain Lions, thanks to a 3-run homer off the bat of Austin Hear.
Concord got out to an early lead and continued to add on in later innings, winning the second game 12-8, finishing off the Saturday sweep.
