ANAHEIM, Calif. (Gray News) – A couple at Disneyland allegedly left their child unattended in a stroller so they could go on a ride.

Another guest at the park caught the Feb. 18 incident on camera and posted it to TikTok.

The video shows a stroller covered with a Spider-Man blanket. The woman who posted the video said the parents left the child to ride Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout!

“I’ve honestly never seen this happen,” the woman said in the video. “Why did somebody leave their baby here in a stroller while they went to go get on a ride?”

Another user left a comment on the video, pointing out that “Guardians is usually like a 60 to 80 minute wait also. So they were planning on leaving that baby for at least over an hour.”

The video later shows a security guard checking on the child, and the woman who posted the video said that security got the parents off the ride.

The parents were not named, and it’s unclear if they faced any consequences from Disneyland or are facing any criminal charges.

Multiple former Disneyland workers in the comment section of the video noted that this is sadly a common occurrence.

“I’ve worked at the DL resort on and off for almost 20 years. It’s infuriating to me how often this DOES happen. First one I ever found was an infant,” one person commented.

According to Disneyland’s website, children must be at least 14 years old to be left unattended at the park.

Disneyland also offers a service called “Rider Switch,” which allows parents to take turns riding a ride while the other waits with their child without having to stand in line twice.

“With Rider Switch, Guests take turns experiencing an attraction. One party waits outside the queue while the remainder of their party waits in the queue. Once the first party returns from riding, the waiting Guest(s) may board the attraction without having to wait in the standard queue,” Disneyland’s website reads.
