After moving on from Aaron Rodgers last month, the Jets have found their next quarterback.

Justin Fields has agreed to a two-year deal with the Jets, according to a source. NFL Network reports Fields’ deal is for $40 million, including $30 million guaranteed.

After being drafted 11th overall in the 2021 NFL Draft, Fields played his first three seasons with the Bears. He was traded to the Steelers last off-season to back up Russell Wilson. Fields started the first six games of last season after Wilson reaggravated a calf injury he suffered during training camp. He was 4-2 in those starts and Fields scored 10 total touchdowns.

This is a developing story, check back for updates.
