EE has dramatically cut the prices for EE TV, offering some fantastic deals that provide access to a plethora of TV channels, complimentary Netflix and 6-months of Apple TV+ – all at a price that undercuts Sky for six months.

The key point here is that the EE TV deal includes broadband in the price. Reduced from £46.99 a month to just £27.99 a month, this EE TV package offers a lot.

It provides access to all the usual Freeview channels like BBC, as well as Now Entertainment for access to channels such as Sky Atlantic. You also get Netflix, Discovery+ and a six-month trial of Apple TV+.

If you want one, EE will even offer you an Apple TV 4K – making them the only TV provider in the country to do so. And with Sky Stream starting at £15 for a similar package without broadband, EE’s offer is certainly enticing.

This deal bundles a huge amount of content, saving you £19 a month off the regular cost – but there are a few things to note about this deal.

Firstly, the £27.99 price is for six months, meaning you’re saving £114 across the full term of this contract. The contract lasts for 24 months. After the first six months, the price will revert to the regular price of £46.99 a month.

The deal includes all that TV content, as well as either EE’s TV box, or the Apple TV 4K. EE is the only company that offers the Apple TV 4K with its TV services integrated, which means you can then take advantage of the other features of the box, like connectivity with your iPhone and other apps and games, reports the Express.

The offer of six months of access to Apple TV+ is a sweetener (worth £8.99 a month, or £53.94 over six months) and will give you access to loads of exclusive content such as Ted Lasso, Severance and The Morning Show.

If you want even more TV, EE is also offering its Full Works package at a discount – saving you £55 a month for six months (saving £330), but also getting you access to Sky Sports.

Then you get to the broadband, which is bundled into the package. With EE TV, you can only get the TV service if you have EE’s broadband, so this deal is best for someone that’s looking to switch broadband provider.

The price includes the standard 67Mbps service, which is plenty fast enough to stream 4K shows on your TV. If you have no issue with your broadband and don’t want to change, then going for for Sky Stream is your best alternative.

Again, you get access to loads of channels and Netflix, while also being able to stream all your terrestrial TV too, so there’s no need for a dish. If you’d rather opt for Sky Stream, then you can get it from £15 month from Sky. The advantage of choosing the Sky deal, over EE, is that it’s cheaper over the long term.

You don’t get the option of an Apple TV 4K box and there’s no trial of Apple TV+ thrown in, but you will be getting a lot of entertainment for a low price – including Netflix – with the option of adding more channels from Sky if you want them.

Sky is also proposing to package Sky broadband with the Sky Essential TV bundle for a monthly cost of £35. While this appears pricier than the EE deal for the initial six months, over the span of the 24-month contract it will prove more economical – though prices are liable to fluctuation.
