Apple products aren’t exactly the cheapest on the market, and not many of us are keen to dish out the big bucks on their gadgets.
But Virgin Media will give you a completely free ninth generation iPad when you sign up for their TV and broadband deal, ensuring you won’t be a penny out of pocket for this expensive tablet.
Virgin’s deal features the ninth Gen Apple tablet, which comes packed with a 10.2-inch screen, A13 Bionic processor, Touch ID fingerprint scanner and a single rear camera.
While not the latest Apple iPad- it first launched in 2021 – it’s a decent tablet that’s perfect for watching movies and surfing the web, reported the Express.
Although Argos also offers the gadget for £289, and Amazon stocks a renewed version of the model for £204 – Virgin users will get it without paying a penny.
Amazon shoppers love this gadget – and they didn’t even get it for free!
One said of the refurbished product on Amazon: “Fantastic product. Looks brand new. Very happy customer! Thank you.”
Another happy buyer said: “Fantastic item really good quality would recommend.” While another said: “Bought as a gift for my wife, she loves it.”

An Argos shopper who bought their iPad new said: “I bought this about four months ago and I am so happy with how it works. It’s an older generation but it functions just fine.”
Another Argos buyer said: “This tablet is amazing and so easy to use. I would buy this one again without even thinking. So easy to order and so easy to pick up.”

But not everyone was blown away by this iPad, as one Amazon shopper said: “The item was defective, as the battery stopped charging after just a few weeks.
“I requested a refund, but the seller would only issue a partial one. Thankfully, after contacting Amazon, they stepped in and issued a full refund.”
But while these shoppers bought their ninth gen iPads with hard-earned cash, yours could be completely free with Virgin’s TV and broadband subscription.
Unlike some of Virgin’s previous freebies – which have included Xbox consoles and 4K TVs – the iPad deal is only available when signing up for the firm’s top-tier TV and broadband bundle, rather than its other cheaper plans.
That means you will have to take out the ultimate Mega Volt Bundle. This plan includes access to the web at over 1Gbps along with over 230 channels, Sky Sports and Sky Cinema. There’s even an unlimited O2 SIM for your smartphone included as well.
It’s a packed bundle but it will set you back £88.99 per month and you will have to sign up for an 18-month contract.
