Austin Community College already has transfer partnerships with Texas State University and Concordia University.

AUSTIN, Texas — St. Edward’s University and Austin Community College (ACC) have announced a new scholarship program meant to make it easier for students to transfer from ACC to St. Edward’s.

The ACComplish @ St. Edward’s program is set to begin this fall. The program will provide a $5,000 annual scholarship to students transferring directly. ACC students who graduated from a Catholic, KIPP or IDEA high school will also qualify for an additional $5,000 annual Affinity Scholarship.

St. Edward’s also offers Transfer Merit Scholarships, ranging from $12,000 to $18,000 per year, along with a $2,500 award for top students in the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society.

The university said ACComplish @ St. Edward’s also provides eligible students access to the Accelerated Graduate Pathways, which allow qualified students to begin taking graduate-level coursework within St. Edward’s graduate programs in the Bill Munday School of Business and the School of Behavioral and Social Science while they complete their undergraduate coursework, all as part of their undergraduate tuition.

The ACComplish @ St. Edward’s program will leverage “2+2 pathways” including popular transfer majors like Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees in Psychology, Communication, Kinesiology and Criminal Justice; Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degrees in Marketing, Finance and Accounting; and Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees in Biology and Nursing.

ACC students transferring to St. Edward’s will also have the option to live on campus in Casa, a co-ed community, year-round through ACComplish @ St. Edward’s.

ACC’s other transfer partnerships

St. Edward’s isn’t the only Central Texas university that ACC has a partnership with.

Just last month, ACC announced the “Rise at ACC, Shine at CTX” initiative, which offers ACC students multiple pathways to a bachelor’s degree at Concordia University.

And last spring, ACC and Texas State University announced that ACC students can now transfer to Texas State automatically.

ACC has 11 campuses located across Central Texas, including six in Austin and one each in Cedar Park, Elgin, Kyle, Round Rock and Leander. ACC also just started offering classes in Lockhart.
