BRISTOL, Tn. – A long-standing artist based in Tazewell County is exhibiting her work at The Birthplace of Country Music Museum in Bristol, TN.

Ellen Elmes has made a name for herself all across central Appalachia with her many murals as well as fine art exhibits. This showing, called “The Art of Music and Mountains,” features a myriad of works ranging from original acrylics to prints of her iconic murals, all tied together by their mountain-life inspired themes.

One stand-out piece is “Tribute to the Stanley Brothers” which is as an ode to the the music group, very fitting for the theme of the museum where it is being exhibited.
