According to the arrest warrant, the victim was at a restaurant with another woman Monday when someone took a picture of them and sent it to Holley-Lujan.

A short time later, Holley-Lujan arrived at the bar and started swiping food and drinks off the table, police said.

Holley-Lujan then picked up a glass salsa jar and threw it at her boyfriend, striking him behind the ear, according to the affidavit.

According to witnesses, the disturbance continued outside the restaurant.

The manager and another witness told police the couple argued outside and Holley-Lujan attempted to run over the victim with her vehicle. The manager said it appeared she deliberately swerved her vehicle in the direction of the victim, the warrant states.

When police officers arrived, they met with the victim, who said, “She hit the hell out of me.”

While police officers were speaking with the victim at the scene, Holley-Lujan called the victim multiple times and reportedly said, “So, you’re really about to put me in jail? I didn’t mean to. I was just angry.”

Holley-Lujan eventually surrendered to police officers.

“She repeatedly stated she was upset and did not mean to cause harm,” according to police.
