BLUEFIELD, W.Va. – The Behavioral Health Pavilion of the Virginias is celebrating a significant birthday, marking a decade and a half of service to its community and more improvements to come.
“This Pavilion has been in place serving people with behavioral health disorders for the last 15 years, and we are just so proud of what we do here,” said Karen Bowling, president and CEO of WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital.
Bowling also noted the lack of these facilities nationwide, making the Pavilion’s position all the more critical.
“Behavioral health services are in shortage, whether you’re talking about Southern West Virginia, Southwest Virginia, or quite honestly across the entire county, and the fact that we’ve been able to sustain these services for the last 15 years, I think it’s very important for our community to celebrate that they have this resource,” continued Bowling.
However, PCH promises a new addition. In a recent press release shared with WVVA, WVU Medicine shared more about what’s next for the Pavilion.
Congratulations to the Pavilion on 15 years.
