TWO VIRGINIAS – One month ago our region experienced historic flooding, leading to broken infrastructure, loss of property and the loss of life.
In the time since, our communities have rallied together to help heal one another and federal aid has flowed in to Southern West Virginia. WVVA was on the ground on February 15 at the site of water rescues and immediately began to assess the damage and highlight the amazing effort of neighbors helping neighbors.
We have also raised nearly $30,000 for flood victims.
Below we are sharing our coverage of the floods and their aftermath.
