This happened early Sunday morning at Casa Ole.
SAN ANTONIO — Police are investigating a shooting at a busy downtown restaurant that happened early Sunday.
Police arrived just after 1 a.m. to the Casa Ole restaurant off the 500 block of River Walk to find a man with a gunshot wound. The violence unfolded after a night of St. Patrick’s day celebrations in the downtown area.
Police say both the 43-year-old victim and the 20-year-old suspect work at the restaurant. For some unknown reason, police say the suspect walked up to the victim and shot him in the head, killing him. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. The suspect fled from the restaurant following the shooting.
No other injuries were reported.
Police are still searching for the suspect.
