Shirt dresses are usually a wardrobe staple in spring and summer thanks to their breezy and flattering fit. So, it’s not exactly a surprise to hear that Kate’s Boden Shirt Dress has been described online as “selling like hot cakes.”
The Clara Cotton Shirt Dress has been crafted from a soft cotton fabric, making it a breathable choice when the mercury rises. Falling to a maxi-length hemline, it boasts a flattering fit-and-flare shape that will compliment your natural curves.
Designed with an “eye-catching” floral print, it is finished with balloon sleeves, a full skirt, a tie waist and side seam pockets. Paired with your favourite sandals, it is ideal for taking on holiday, or for wearing to any summer weddings or garden parties you have been invited to.
At the time of writing, Boden’s £146 dress was still available to buy in sizes six through to 16. It has been designed in petite, regular and long lengthways.
It’s not just Kate and Good Morning Britain viewers that love the Clara Cotton Shirt Dress, as numerous Boden shoppers have left the frock glowing five-star reviews for its “vibrant” print and “flattering” fit.
One five-star review read: “Love the vibrant colors and floral printed cotton this shirt waist dress. Worn with or without the belt, this dress is surely to be a staple of spring and summer in any wardrobe.
“Whether with flats, sandals or dressy shoes, this dress serves many purposes. Ready to wear out of the box!”
Someone else gushed: “Love this dress. Fab colours. Flattering fit. A feel good dress.“
Another Boden customer praised: “I love this! Boden clothes are so well made and the colours of this dress are stunning!”
Some shoppers had issues with the fit, particularly over the chest, as one wrote: “Gorgeous dress. Very flattering and love the pattern, but it pulls across the chest. Fits perfectly everywhere else.
“Too vain to size up, so will keep it but will have to wear it ‘open’ with a camisole underneath.”
