(InvestigateTV) — Jockeys are only protected by a helmet and safety vests while on top of a thousand-pound horse racing at speeds nearing 40 miles per hour.
It can be a dangerous ride for jockeys, and now their healthcare has become a priority in recent years, as new mandates for their physical and mental welfare have taken shape.
