It’s unclear how many vehicles were involved in the collision early Tuesday morning.

KYLE, Texas — A roadway has reopened in Kyle, Texas, after a crash caused a temporary shutdown early Tuesday morning. 

According to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Austin, all lanes of Interstate 35 southbound by Yarrington Road were closed after a collision in Hays County. The closure was first reported around 2:40 a.m. 

It’s uncertain how many vehicles were involved, but KVUE contacted the Kyle Police Department for more information. Semi-trucks were also reported at a standstill at around 5 a.m.
