They said: “The flavour of cherry is very much front and centre but I noticed an almost liquorice note lingering just behind it. You can taste the vanilla and sugar notes but you mainly get a strong cherry flavour, which is exactly what you’d want from a cherry rum.
“While it can be served neat there’s a way I like it much more – with cola. Cherry Cola has for a long time been my go to drink from Coca Cola’s range and when mixing this rum it tastes exactly like that. There isn’t even a burn going down even with it being 40 per cent ABV so please do remember to drink responsibly.”
