A Queens auto shop owner was found dead in a pool of blood inside his closed repair shop, his body lying near a power tool, police and sources said Tuesday.
The victim’s brother made the grisly discovery around 3:15 p.m. Monday at Mekniko Autoworks on Cross Island Parkway near 149th St. in Whitestone, according to police sources.
The 65-year-old had deep cuts to his neck and elbow. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
His death was not initially deemed suspicious, but cops are still investigating. His name was not immediately released.
The city Medical Examiner will determine his cause of death.
