Debenhams is offering a huge discount on a pair of slippers that bear a striking resemblance to a far pricier brand. The Ibis Slippers have been slashed to £39.99, down from their original £139 price tag, offering a massive 71 percent discount.
With Mother’s Day just around the corner, it’s the perfect opportunity to grab a thoughtful gift – or treat yourself.
These cosy slippers share several similarities with Ugg’s Scuffette slippers, which retail at £90. While not identical, the Ibis slippers from Debenhams offer a similar aesthetic at £50 less. Both feature a plush sheepskin lining and come in a warm tan shade, Express reported.

The description of the slippers on the Debenhams reads: “This cozy slipper with a central seam and a full collar offer an invitation to indulge in unparalleled comfort.
“Crafted with a lining and insole made from sheepskin, it provides breathable warmth for chilly feet.”
Specifications state that the slippers are also water resistant with a lightweight outsole.
There are some key differences, however. The Debenhams slippers rise higher around the ankle, while the Ugg version follows a more traditional slip-on shape for ease.
The Ibis Slippers have quickly earned an impressive 4.6-star rating on Debenhams, with one customer raving: “Arrived on time, well packed and exceeded expectations. Sooo fluffy. Very slightly tight but fluffiness will bed down.”

Another shopper, who had previously owned Ugg slippers, shared: “Fabulous slippers. Love them. [I] had Uggs before [and] these are just as good. Going to order more as presents.” [SIC]
One customer praised the slippers, saying: “These slippers are beautiful, warm and comfortable. They are slightly snug but I know will stretch a little with wear. The colour is a gorgeous shade of pale purple, as pictured.”
However, not all feedback was as positive, as another shopper shared: “Lovely slippers but I couldn’t get them on.
“They’re the correct size but the foot opening is just too tight. I was worried if it did eventually go on, I’d be stuck and not able to get it off without cutting it. Such a shame as they looked really pretty and cosy.”
Another customer recommended sizing up, noting: “Would suggest ordering a size or two bigger than usual. Not true to size due to fur inner. Boot style difficult to put on too due to being a lot smaller than the actual size ordered.”
Debenhams offers a range of slipper styles, from soft sock options to clogs. For those seeking extra support, the £69 Stormur Slippers from Simba are designed with reflexology in mind, featuring cushioned pressure points for added comfort.
As part of its 75 percent off sale, Debenhams has slashed prices on hundreds of fashion items, including other slipper styles.
The Pelican Removable Strap Slingback Slippers, originally priced at £125, are now £39.19, featuring an open back and adjustable slingback strap for a customised fit.
