BLUE EARTH, Minn. (WCCO) – A 28-year-old man is now facing charges in connection to the stabbing death of a Minnesota gas station employee early Tuesday morning.
“It feels like a nightmare we can’t wake up from,” Kelsey Ogren said.
Charging documents say 28-year-old Michael Miller entered a Kwik Trip store with a large knife, then started opening food and breaking things.
Miller then stabbed Dennis Vosika 43 times, documents say.
“Honestly, I think Dennis was an angel sent to Earth from God,” Ogren, Vosika’s partner, added.

Ogren says her boyfriend was an avid card collector and sports fan.
“Just really shows how big of a Timberwolves fan he is,” Ogren said.
Vosika, who Ogren said loved and cared for everyone around him, had been battling kidney failure for 15 years.
“Despite the odds against him, just the brightest personality, resilient, strong, just an amazing guy,” Ogren described.
Court records show the suspect was under guardianship and lived in a group home that is just a 5-minute walk from the Kwik Trip.
Documents also say Miller suffered from brain damage and PTSD.
“I’m an advocate for people who struggle with mental health. It’s not something that you choose, but I do not believe that this individual should have been accessible to the public,” Ogren said. “He’s clearly a danger.”
Ogren says her boyfriend was one-of-a-kind and will never be replaced.
“He’s not a headline on the news. He’s not just a victim. He was a beautiful person with a big life.”
