A key piece of technology to have with you during your workouts is a fitness tracker watch. From logging your workouts to calculating how many calories you have burnt in a session, the fitness tracker has become the regular gym goer’s best friend.
With so many on the market, it can be hard to choose which watch will be most beneficial for your needs. Luckily for android users, one highly-rated tracker has just had a price slash in an Amazon exclusive deal.
The retail giant notes that the Samsung Galaxy Fit3 Watch usually retails for £69, but after a 29 per cent price slash, fitness fanatics can now snap it up for the budget friendly price of only £49.

You won’t be squinting at the screen of the Galaxy Fit3 as it boasts a large, rectangular 1.6″ AMOLED display that “brings your fitness journey to life”. Samsung believes you will be able to do “more in less time” as the watch provides effortless navigation and easy viewing with its large display.
One of the top perks of the Galaxy Fit3 is that it can keep up with your active lifestyle due to having an up to 13 day battery life on a single charge. Also if you have a packed schedule, you can power up the watch to 65 per cent in just 30 minutes.
Along with over 100 installed workouts, which can be detected automatically, you can also gain valuable insights into your sleep and blood oxygen levels with the Fit3 watch. You can also stay in control and in the know in the middle of a gym session, as the watch will receive instant notifications via Bluetooth and let you control your music.

Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Fit3 Watch has been awarded a 4.4 star rating on Amazon, and many of the 1,100 five-star reviewers have detailed how the watch has had a positive impact on their fitness journey.
One happy shopper wrote: “The Samsung Galaxy Fit3 is an impressive fitness tracker that delivers on both performance and style. As someone who likes to track fitness progress, I was excited to try this tracker, and it did not disappoint.
“From its sleek design to its comprehensive fitness tracking features, the Galaxy Fit3 is a solid option for anyone looking for a reliable and affordable fitness tracker.”
Another reviewer added: “After having a fit bit aspire 2 and it just stop working, only had it two years. This watch is a breath of fresh air, cheaper, works brilliantly, less money, can have a picture of my dog on the front, led screen, locate my phone as I have a Samsung phone, tracks my sleep, has aqua aerobics workout monitor on it, water lock, fall detection (I fall over a lot!). It is brilliant, bargain.”
While a third wrote: “I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy Fit3 for a while now, and honestly, I’m really happy with it. It’s super easy to use. Plus, I love how much you can customise it. Tracking-wise, it’s been spot-on.
“I’m pretty focused on my calorie intake and steps, and the Fit3 gives me reliable data. It also tracks my sleep, which is interesting to see. Basically, it does exactly what I need it to, and it does it well. No complaints here!”

However, despite these rave reviews, some shoppers had a few grievances with the watch. One shopper explained: “I don’t really like it. I bought it for sleep tracking and monitoring my heart rate at the gym but I find the thing quite uncomfortable to wear.
“The strap makes my wrist clammy and if I roll on to my wrist in the night it hurts my wrist and wakes me up. I have skinny wrists too and have to put this on the smallest hole in order to measure my blood o2 level, which seems to vary wildly from not being able to read my o2 level at all, to 100 percent, to 80 percent all right after each other.”
But another reported a fault, writing: “This product was really good until it stopped working after only a month’s use. It stopped connecting to my phone for some reason. But have no idea why.”
