The festival is scheduled to happen at San Gabriel Park on April 5 and 6.

AUSTIN, Texas — In the next couple of weeks, a number of roads in Georgetown are scheduled to be closed as the city welcomes country music fans to town for the Two Step Inn country music festival.

The festival is scheduled to happen at San Gabriel Park on April 5 and 6, which will cause some streets and lanes surrounding the park to be closed for some time.

The park will close in six phases, including during festival staging, which is scheduled to begin March 25 and will continue through April 11. The city has released an interactive map, which shows a full list of closures related to the festival.

The Georgetown Recreation Center, located at 1003 N Austin Ave., will close starting April 4 at 5 p.m. and remain closed through April 7 at 5:30 a.m. Event parking will not be available at the recreation center.

Due to street closures, the Georgetown Animal Shelter, the McMaster Athletic Complex and Transfer Station – all located on Walden Drive – will be closed Saturday and Sunday.

Due to construction on the Austin Avenue bridges south of the park, pedestrians will not be able to take Austin Avenue from downtown to the park. Pedestrians will be able use College Street.

According to the city of Georgetown, all road closures have also been added to Google Maps and Waze apps, so residents and visitors can see the closures on mobile apps they use to get around town.
