CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The No. 4 seed Greater Beckley Christian (GBC) Crusaders were looking to make it to their first state championship game since 2022, but first had to get past No. 1 seed Tug Valley Panthers in the Class A state semifinals Friday.

Tug Valley would take a nine-point lead into the halftime locker rooms, where GBC would respond to tight it right away in the third, but in the end, the Panthers would prove too much and end the Crusader’s season.

Check out the highlights and hear from head coach Justin Arvon following the loss.
