AUSTIN, Texas — A man has been arrested following an investigation into multiple incidents of sexual assault.
The Texas Department of Public Safety says 32-year-old Sadaqat “Mike” Abbasi was arrested on Friday after an extensive investigation.
Abbasi, a resident of Comal County, now faces multiple charges after three known victims were identified. However, authorities believe there may be more victims who have yet to come forward.
DPS said two of the three victims were found in Bexar County while a third was located in Travis County. DPS said it’s currently investigating incidents involving Abbasi that happened between 2016 and 2023.
