Detectives executed a search warrant at the home. Police said officers found evidence, including steroids, which led to the arrests of Christian and Samantha Enfinger for drug-related offenses. Both were initially booked for possession with intent to distribute.

The cause of death was later determined to be blunt force trauma following an autopsy on Friday.

On March 20, Samantha Enfinger was rebooked on a capital murder charge.
