DALLAS — Southwest Airlines comes through in the clutch after a young girl left her beloved stuffed animal behind on a recent trip to Dallas.
Jessica and her daughter, Luna, were on their way home when they realized they left Dog Dog, Luna’s stuffed animal, behind in their rental car.
Smart parent that she is, Jessica immediately contacted a representative of Southwest Airlines at Dallas Love Field and explained her unfortunate situation.
The Southwest Airlines representative named Christina decided she had to take action. She hopped into her car and drove to the rental car company to search for Dog Dog. She wanted to ensure that the treasured stuffie made it home to Luna.

“Not only did Dog Dog return to Luna safe and sound, but he even brought back a photo album of all of his adventures at Southwest so Luna could see what her old friend had been up to while they were apart,” said Southwest Airlines in a Facebook post.
One of Southwest Airlines’ core values, which they refer to as the “Golden Rule,” is to treat others, both employees and customers, with the same concern, respect, and caring attitude that they expect to receive. Even to their tiniest fliers, both human and toy.
Southwest proves they are truly the airline with heart.
