One Amazon shopper was over the moon with their purchase: “The Apple Watch Ultra 2 is fantastic! Durable with a beautiful design, and super fast thanks to the new S9 chip. It’s the perfect companion for workouts and daily use – plus, the battery life is impressive. Simply premium quality!”
However, another shopper shared a problem with the watch: “I’ve had this watch for well under a year. Use it daily and it’s great. However the battery life has practically halved recently. Lots of people with a similar issue. It’s a shame, I have turned off most of the features just to try and get it to last longer.”
It should be noted that this is the current price for the medium sized – 145-190mm wrists – so prices will vary depending on the size.
Google Pixel Watch 3 – was £349, now £279

You can buy the watch in a range of colours with no change in price – Matte Black/Obsidian, Champagne Gold/Hazel and Polished Silver with either a Porcelain or Rose Quartz strap.
With a 4.4 star rating, a happy five-star reviewer said: “The Google Pixel Watch 3 is a fantastic smartwatch that truly integrates fitness and technology! The battery life is impressive, lasting a full 24 hours on a single charge, which is perfect for those of us who are always on the go.”
However the added: “The only drawback I noticed is that the touch screen can be a bit sensitive, leading to accidental taps.”
Samsung Galaxy Watch FE – was £189, now £99

Amazon has knocked off a massive 48 per cent from the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE. Despite being a budget friendly smartwatch compared to competitors, the watch is still able to efficiently track over 100 workouts as well as provide useful sleep coaching to make sure you get a good night’s sleep.
One Amazon shopper backed up the functionality of this sleek watch, writing: “This watch is very accurate! Charges fast, the app works brill with my Samsung phone, quality seems good. Easily measures and identifies what stroke I’m doing in the pool. Very happy.”
Despite this, one shopper commented on the battery life: “I like the watch but the battery life is terrible. For a new watch I would expect the battery to last more than one day. It loses over 40 percent overnight while I’m asleep.”
Amazon also currently has a bundle deal on where you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE along with the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE for only £173.
HUAWEI WATCH GT5 (with free Buds 5i) – was £299.58, now £249.99.

While looking more like a traditional watch compared to other brands, the HUAWEI watch uses TruSense technology to monitor six major systems – including respiratory, nervous and motion systems. This watch is also said to have a seven day battery life.
A helpful Amazon shopper created a detailed review, writing: “At last there is a smart watch that actually looks as good as a quality normal watch. The leather strap on the white version is also good quality and comfortable. Overall this watch can be worn all day every day and look good with anything.”
They did note that this watch is unable to measure or calculate blood pressure, so if that is a major requirement this may not be the watch for you.

Depsite this, one shopper was doubtful of the accuracy: “The major issue I have is the accuracy of the heart rate monitor. It is consistently over by 20 beats per minute, no matter how tight or loose I have the band or which wrist I have it on. I have been comparing with my Apple watch and then was able to compare it to the rate my nurse counted at my Dr appointment.”
