The spring sale has been pretty popular for perfume fans, as an assortment of luxury branded scents are heavily reduced in price. This includes slashing two bottles from Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker to less than £11 each.

Currently a number one bestseller is the actresses first ever perfume – the Lovely EDP that has been described as her “signature” scent. Worth £39.99 for 100ml, it will now only set you back just £10.59, saving an impressive 74 percent off the RRP.
First launched in 2005, SJP’s Lovely has earned a glowing reputation for its “soft” and “powdery” fragrance. It mixes a gentle blend of citrus, rosewood and lavender with apple martini and orchid, alongside white amber, cedar wood and sultry musks.
The pale pink bottle itself has been designed to be reminiscent of a ballerina slipper, representing the delicate nature of the perfume. It’s also adorned with Sarah’s grosgrain ribbon that she has become famed for wearing at multiple awards ceremonies.
Earning an impressive 4.7 rating, the Lovely EDP is a fan-favourite for many perfume fans. In fact, it’s so popular that we were unable to find one review that provided criticism or negative feedback.

One positive review read: “Smells divine, always loved this perfume, value for money. Someone always says you smell nice when wearing it. I wear this and the body spray of the same at the same time, perfume lasts longer that way.”
Meanwhile, the Born Lovely EDP by Sarah Jessica Parker, created in 2018, has also been cut in the spring sale. A 30ml is now just £7, although it is originally worth £25, meaning it is on offer for 72 percent less.
As the ‘sister’ to the beloved Lovely EDP, this newer version does offer some similarities. It’s described as an “aromatic amber Floral blend”, with notes of sparkling fruits, lush florals and clean woods for an “elegant, yet invigorating finish.”
It boasts notes of Mandarin, Peony and Cassis, easing to a heart of Blushing Freesia, Honeysuckle and Orange Blossom, and drying to a musk of Patchouli, Cedarwood, and Caramel. The bottle itself has also had an upgrade, with its clear glass design now being a chic smoky grey.
Averaging a 4.7 rating itself, the Born Lovely EDP is also another heavy hitter with perfume fans on Amazon, as it boasts hundreds of reviews that have praised its “feminine” scent that also “smells expensive.”
One five-star review read: “This just arrived as promised and I love it! First time I have purchased a fragrance by SJP and wanted something new for a night out this week.
“It is such a lovely scent very feminine and floral and it smells like an expensive fragrance-great value. This fragrance would work equally for daytime or an evening out. Glad I took a chance on it.”
However, unlike the original Lovely EDP, Born Lovely does have some criticism for its staying power. One such review read: “It does not last long on the body. The smell changes some time after application.”
