The ‘slimming’ midi dress is available in sizes four to 24 in both petite and regular lengths, and is designed to fall between the knee and ankle, reports Manchester Evening News.
These types of dresses are not only flattering on women of all body sizes and shapes, but are perfect for both casual outings and formal events. White Stuff’s Rua Embroidered Dress boasts an overall star-rating of 4.5 out of five based on more than a colossal 2,200 reviews on their website.
One shopper said: “Easy to wear and comfortable. Good fit to size and does not need ironing so great for travelling.”

A second wrote: “Nice fitting dress. It suits any occasion. Either casual or for a special event. Love the colours.” Somebody else said: “Lovely dress. So easy to wear, love the long sleeves and pockets. Great colours. A winner.”
“The dress is a good addition to my wardrobe,” a fourth penned. “It fits well and I think it is quite slimming. I like the position of the pockets, useful but do not add bulk in the hip area.
“The fabric hangs well and doesn’t crease. A bargain in the sale. Haven’t washed it yet though. That’s always a good test.”
Another loved their latest White Stuff purchase, adding: “Love the Rua dress, I now have three. So flattering and comfortable. Can dress up or down for casual outings. Wash beautifully.”
One shopper, however, hailed the Rua Embroidered Dress as ‘drab’, giving it a three-star review. It reads: “Very unremarkable, neither striking nor stylish, pretty nor alluring, just rather drab. It was just a very uninteresting dress.”
Elsewhere, Boden is offering up to 70 per cent off in its midseason sale. The Thea Long Sleeve Jersey Dress is now £31.50 down from £90 and the Kate Sleeveless Shirt Dress now costs £43.75 instead of £125.
