TAMPA, Fla. — The most magical place on earth is gearing up for summer visitors with special family deals, discounted tickets, more activities, new shows and a new parade.
Ticket discounts
- 50% off on kids tickets (ages 3-9) if you purchase a 3-day or longer standard ticket
- Visits from May 27 to Sept. 20
- A 3-day, 3-park ticket will be $89 per day and $267 total
- Visits from April 6 to Sept. 22
- Doesn’t include Magic Kingdom
Other deals
- You can get a free dining plan with the purchase of a non-discounted 4-night, 4-day (or longer) package that includes a room at select Disney Resort hotels and a ticket with a Park Hopper option
- Visits from June 29 to Dec. 22
- Save up to 30% on select Disney Resort hotel rooms when you stay longer
- Visits from Aug. 1 to Oct. 11
- Disney Resort hotel guests can enjoy free admission to a Disney water park on their check-in day as part of their stay
New limited-time experiences
There will be pop-up entertainment offerings, games, music, dancing and other fun activities.
“We’re curating simple, yet fun entertainment experiences geared towards families,” Jason Kirk, Senior Vice President of Operations at Walt Disney World said during a panel at Disney. “There will be areas where guests can go, have fun and relax.”
In Magic Kingdom, there will be kid zones in Storybook Circus and in Tomorrowland with Stitch, and there will also be movie nights at the resorts.
Some of Disney’s characters will also be out in the park earlier for Disney Resort hotel guests during their early theme park entry period.
There will also be more character visits for hotel guests at four resorts: Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
New shows
- The Little Mermaid – A Musical Adventure
- This is a reimagined theatrical production brings Ariel’s story to life
- Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After
- This immersive production showcases villains such as Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook and Maleficent with musical numbers. In the show, the Magic Mirror summons guests to help determine which one has been treated most unfairly.
Nighttime parade
The Disney Starlight will come to Magic Kingdom later in the summer with characters from “Peter Pan,” “Encanto,” “Frozen” and more.
It will be the first nighttime parade at Disney World in nearly a decade, according to officials.
More details and the opening date will be shared soon, officials said.
