Darwin Samir Salinas-Martinez, 28, was arrested in connection to the April 2024 homicide on Rutland Drive.

AUSTIN, Texas — A fourth man has been arrested in the aftermath following a homicide that happened in North Austin in April 2024.

On Wednesday, members of the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force (LSTF) arrested 28-year-old Darwin Samir Salinas-Martinez, aka “Condon,” in connection with the shooting death of 30-year-old Lowen Alberto Ordonez Lobo outside The Villas Del Sol apartments on Rutland Drive in North Austin on April 28, 2024.

LSTF learned that Salinas-Martinez was residing at an apartment complex in the 4400 block of Airport Boulevard, and arrested him following a brief barricade. He was subsequently booked in the Travis County Jail.

Salinas-Martinez’s arrest follows three other arrests related to Ordonez Lobo’s death.

Jairo Valesquez-Lopez, 23, was arrested on May 9, 2024 in the 800 block of East Rundberg Lane. He was identified as the getaway driver who fled the scene.

Giovany Perdomo, aka “Pero,” 21, was identified as the alleged shooter and was arrested on May 13, 2024 in the 6500 block of Bluff Springs Road.

Nixon Marquez-Martinez, 33, is alleged to have ordered the murder. He was arrested on May 14, 2024 in the 2800 block of Wells Branch Parkway. Marquez-Martinez also had an additional administrative warrant with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Marshals said at the time of his arrest.

Salinas-Martinez is alleged to have coached, encouraged and provided the murder weapon to Perdomo.

According to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Salinas-Martinez is an undocumented immigrant from Honduras and was sought by the agency on a warrant of removal.

The case was investigated as Austin’s 18th homicide of 2024
