Austin is one of 32 cities the folk rock band will be performing in later this year.
AUSTIN, Texas — Fans of folk music, get excited: Mumford & Sons is coming to Austin.
The popular British folk rock group will be performing at the Moody Center on Oct. 24 as part of a tour promoting their new album “Rushmere.”
Austin will be the only Texas stop for the band during the tour. Grammy winner Sierra Ferrell will also support as the opening act.
Mumford & Sons is one of the most accomplished musical acts in the world since the 2010s, winning four Billboard Music Awards, two Brit Awards and two Grammy Awards. They won a Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 2013 for their 2012 album “Babel.”
