WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. -Business leaders from throughout the Two Virginias met Friday evening at The Greenbrier for the annual Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce dinner.

The event was accompanied by guests, dinner, and four awards categories. This year’s edition also included guest speaker Brad Smith, president of Marshall University.

A range of awards were given out to businesses, and some of those winners included Mountain Table for New Business of the Year, and Greenbrier Valley Communication Foundation for Non Profit of the Year. The executive director of the Greater Greenbrier Chamber of Commerce, Erin Hurst, said giving people the recognition they deserve is her favorite part of the evening.

“What I’m most looking forward to is honoring these folks who, they don’t do what they do for accolades, but they definitely deserve recognition, so I’m so excited for our awards ceremony,” said Hurst.

Hurst added that she wants to express her gratitude to The Greenbrier’s events team, not just for hosting the ceremony but accommodating their 300 guests.

She also added that if you’d like to join the chamber, reach out to them to participate in their next event.
