While a fourth shopper was amazed with the vacuum: “This hoover is the BEST hoover I’ve ever owned. With its spinning head-brush it cleans carpets better than anything I’ve ever had. My Henry is good but it’s like pulling a small washing machine around the flat.
“Dyson again just lumpy. This Gtech is nimble, powerful, easy to manoeuvre and easy to clean. In fact I’m amazed at how much it picks up.”
However, other shoppers had a few niggles with the device: “For use on carpet great, picks up lots of hair and dust. My only niggle is not being able to get to the edges, really missing some sort of wand attachment. Really didn’t work as well as i hoped on hard floors. Any large pieces of debris or small stones just get pushed around
“Although light weight and nice and easy to manoeuvre the slight movement within the handle did make it feel not well made… I cant say I think it will stand the test of time.”
Another added: “There is one fatal design flaw, sadly as I otherwise love this hoover. My partner has long hair, and after even a short hoovering the roller bar gets completely clogged with tightly wrapped hair. Whatever time I save over a plugin is lost to having to detach the roller once a week or so and carefully cut out all the hair with a pair of scissors.”
