BROOKLYN Park, Minn. (Gray News) – A small aircraft reportedly crashed in a residential area of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, Saturday afternoon.

According to multiple reports, the single-engine plane departed from Des Moines International Airport in Iowa and was heading towards Anoka County-Blaine Airport in Minneapolis before it went down.

There is no immediate report yet on how many people were on board when the plane crashed or if there are any injuries to those on the ground.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz posted on X that his team has been in touch with local officials at the scene and monitoring the situation.
