PRINCETON, W.Va. – Folks participating in the Mercer County Hunger Challenge through Heaven Sent Ministries have gathered once more for a final push on Sunday to package non-perishable meals for South Sudan.

The four-ingredient packets being assembled each contain 6 meals, and 30 packets are put into a reusable bucket before being sent off to those in need.

The president of Heaven Sent Ministries, Lyle Mullins, explained that each meal only costs them 35 cents. He also gave WVVA an update on their numbers from this weekend.

To learn more about the Hunger Challenges and when they might take place next, you can find Heaven Sent Ministries on their website or Facebook page.
